i've always had good luck with the burt's bees 'baby bee' line. not one of the four girls ever had a rash. at the first sign of redness, i just used the 'baby bee' ointment.

Boudreaux's Butt Paste® is the absolute best (for any age!!)

    http://www.buttpaste.com/BLButtPaste.php

As a nurse, we used in on the elderly, as a g'ma, I've seen my dil use it as well. It's the best, and it stays on.

I raised all my children in cloth diapers and they rarely had rashes. Ya just need to keep them clean and dry. HTH

  5. GARAGE SALE GAL says:

I have heard of one called BUTT PASTE…a girlfriend's daughter, new mom, is using it and LOVES IT!!!!
    Always love your freebies.

  6. The Good Little Housewife says:

Honestly? My kids rarely got a rash… it was usually when they had been teething. When they would, I would use Mylanta. My sister's kids' ped recommmended it and it works. Dab it on with a cotton ball or put it in a spray bottle.

  7. Holly- Girls At Heart says:

Oh dear, I hated using cloth but I love this sweet image! Thanks! ♥

  8. malia says:

    darling image keren, thanks!
i used plain old vaseline on my diaper rash victims. seemed to help. hope you have a great weekend…

  9. Beansieleigh says:

Best ointment I liked for my kids?? I liked A&D ointment… It worked quickly and cleared it right up!

  10. The Venturas says:

I let my babies air out if the weather allows. Use the cream only when you have to diaper. And if you're going to switch to cloth test it out first-some babies get MORE diaper rash with cloth diapers (because the urine sits on their skin more).
    Thanks for the sweet image!

  11. Maria says:

    Hi Keren~
    I used cloth diapers {My babies are now 27, 25 and 22}
My very old shih tzu wears a disposable diaper at night… she has become incontinent especially during the night… We cut a hole for her tail and the weirdest stuff {like granules} comes out of the stuffing… It makes me wonder what is going up against the tender skin of babies! and worse, what chemicals are seeping into their precious bodies.
    Washing cloth diapers is a pain… but I thought my babies were so much more comfortable wearing them. They didn't stay in diapers too long once they got into their two's… They KNEW when they were wet and didn't like it, so wanted to use their potty chair faster than my friends who used disposables. {This was my observation}
Good luck… I admire you for even considering cloth!

ps. love your designs! I first discovered them at Bluebird Notes! They look so sweet ♥

  13. Sherrie says:

I had to use cloth diapers for my oldest as he was allergic to disposables. Cloth diapers are a lot of work, hope you find another cure.

  14. Ooty says:

    Thank you! Lovely as always!!!

  15. Sherry from Alabama says:

Another cute, cute graphic. Thank you! I was going to suggest Boudreaux's Butt Paste but I see someone beat me to it. It's been quite awhile since my children were babies and I didn't know about it then, but have since found it to use for an itchy rash I had on my face. I chose it because it didn't have parabens or a lot of other strong chemicals. Good luck with the cloth diapers if you go that route. I think they are the best choice for babies and actually tried using them when my daughter was a baby, but found them to be quite a hassle. But if I had it to do over again, I would most certainly use them when home and only use disposables when going out.

    Aquaphore- works miracles!!!

  17. mamajil says:

I used cloth with my oldest, with my other children I've used disposable. to protect the bottom you can use plain zinc oxide you can get a big tub of it cheap ask the pharmacist. I also use zinc oxide for sun block it is a great skin protector. good luck!
BTW I am loving your blog!

  18. agypsyangel says:

  20. Home and Heart says:

This is ADORABLE!! Thank you for always being generous!! My youngest had bad rashes due to antibiotics. The pediatrician said to let him go nude. Yep, a bit dangerous, but the fresh air really helped. SO I would take off his diaper, for an hour or so several times a day. It really helped. Good luck!!

  21. Narcissique says:

  22. Free Pretty Things For You says:

    you guys are THE BEST!

  23. Megan says:

Dr. Smith's for me is the ALL TIME BEST diaper rash cream.

  24. Ivy says:

Go for the cloth! I've had a lot of success and very few diaper rashes with the bum genius 3.0 all in one diapers (now in a 4.0). We've been using them for over a year now with room to grow. When a diaper rash strikes, we use Desitin and disposables (b/c the cream can ruin the absorption of the cloth diapers). Love your blog.

  25. Dianna D says:

Triple Paste. You used to have to request it at the pharmacy (even though it's OTC) but now I can get it at Target and Walmart. Works so well yet isn't sticky. Love it (as much as a person can love a diaper rash cream!).

  26. Sweet Rustic says:

I'm from Australia, so I dont know if u get it there too but Lucas' Paw Paw ointment works really well as both a barrier balm & to heal nappy rash- it's also great for helping to heal lots of other things too.
It's made completely of Paw Paws so its natural.

  27. melina bee says:
