The Queen of all things crafty just released her new line, and this time, it’s all about the Bling!
Introducing Martha Stewart Jewelry, available exclusively at Michaels!
cool diy jewelry, diy wedding jewelry, photo charm jewelry, Martha Stewart craft supplies,
Now, the big question.. What to make?! So many choices, so much to tinker with!
Can you tell I was in craft heaven :)
I thought of so many things I would be able to create for the final project, but since I’m still drawn to anything personalized like honey bees are to spring flowers, I decided to make a sweet little monogrammed necklace!
What a thoughtful gift this would make for any occasion but, especially memorable for a wedding or anniversary gift.
♥ Round Settingt ♥Letters Charms ♥Heart Chain ♥Bow Connectors ♥Pink Czech beads ♥White Enamel ♥Blue Enamel
♥Yellow Enamel ♥Enamel Activator ♥Silicon-tip brush
♥Silicon Matt ♥Cabochon flowers ♥Jewelry Glue ♥MS rings ♥Flat-nose Pliers ♥Round-noes Pliers ♥Small Flush Cutter ♥vintage fabric ♥Pins ♥Clasp
I first stared by cleaning the pendant with rubbing alcohol to get rid of any residue. For this particular pendant, I wanted to use my most treasured Vintage Sheet I had been hording for over a year. Hey, I didn’t want to use it on just anything :) Then I stared by eyeballing and cutting out the fabric circles that would fit inside the pendant. I noticed that my circles weren’t exactly perfect to say the least but I didn’t disrepair! I knew that by filling in the pendant with Martha Stewart’s White Jewelry Enamel, then placing the fabric on top of it (while wet) the white enamel would fill in the sides while also acting as an “adhesive agent”.
Next- Tinkering with all the charms to see what worked! So fun!
To be able to create a monogram with these pretty little letter charms, just snip off the top loop, and Voila! Instant personalized monograms at your fingertips!
The most amazing part of working on this projects, was having the ability to paint my own charms like a pro! Martha Stewart’s new innovative products and tools make it easy to get professional results even for the most novice of craters.
Did I mention the silicon tools are SO easy to clean? Just wash with mild soap ,warm water, pat dry and they are ready to be used over and over again!
The enamel paints come in a variety of brilliant colors, therefore giving you endless of beautiful possibility.. the sky’s the limit!
Once everything is dry, its ready for assembly and adding the finishing touches.. I was going to add a tiny little locket and rose cabochon but it cluttered it up a tad too much for my liking..
And there you have it. A gorgeous personalized gift ready to make one lovely gal, one very lovely happy gal :)
Oh! Speaking of cabochons.. guess what?!?
You can now actually make your own cabochons with ease! I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be able to do this and thanks to miss Martha, I was able to take the leap and jump right in! For more tips and trick, you could visit the good folks over at
