DIY Make your own fabric stiffener

Update: Please forgive the bad picture. This was one of my very first posts back in 2010 when I first started blogging and I knew nothing about it.  I didn’t want to delete it entirely because awesome readers like yourself are still enjoying the recipe to this day because it works just fine :)

How to make your own fabric stiffener

What you will need:
*White Glue (dries Clear)
I love this Glue
Aleene’s Tacky Glue you could get it at Walmart
*Bowl
*Measuring Spoon
*Water
*Extra bottle to keep leftover- Store in a cool place

Place your White Glue into the bowl. Then add equal amount or less water to your glue..this depends on how thick(stiff) you would like your stiffener to be. Mix well. and that’s it!! Simple, cheap and it works.

I have only tried this recipe on regular (not too thick) fabric. When The fabric was dried I was even able to use a  paper punch and cut out pretty shapes with it!
