Hello friends! Today, I’m teaming up with non other than Mod Podge, to bring you a fun and quick holiday craft that will be cherished and loved for years to come!
One of the most enjoyable aspects about creating holiday crafts is the more sparkle you use the better they get! And if it’s sparkle you want, Mod Podge has the perfect formula for the job! In today’s project, we will specifically be using Mod Podge Sparkle, but before we get started, I wanted to tell you a little bit more of this must have product.
Mod Podge® is the number one all-in-one glue, sealer and finish. Available in a variety of formulas, the Mod Podge family of decoupage mediums provide endless possibilities for holiday and gift giving projects. Mod Podge is available at retailers nationwide and on Plaid’s website as well. And just in case your you’re new to decoupage or want to know more, get the basics on plaid’s website: www.plaidonline.com/decoupage/dept/basics.
2. Evenly apply your Mod Podge Sparkle over your felt. (bty: The pink Mod Podge Silicone Craft Mat was perfect for this project. It protected my work space and save me on cleaning time since the Mod Podge peels right off when it dries!)
3. Once the felt is dry, adhere your sweet baby images to it and insert them into your brag books!
note: I added 2 coats Mod Podge and used the blow dryer in between coats to help the drying process along.
I have to tell you.. the Sparkle Mod Podge worked like a charm. The glitter was evenly distributed and once it was completely dry, the felt was extremely stiff which made it super easy to insert them into the albums!
Now, you’re ready to wrap it up or fill it up with treasured memories of that precious new babe in your life. Just look at that sparkle! I was afraid that when I took the pictures, you were not going to be able to see all the pretty glitter. I’m so relived that wasn’t the case :)
Happy Holiday Crafting!
